We are having a soggy July 4th here in Ohio! This morning The Sharps came over to go to the Orange Township Parade with us. About halfway through the parade the rain really started coming down, but the kids were unfazed. Thank goodness someone lent us a big umbrella since I forgot ours at home! Brendan was glad to have Ryleigh over to play and we enjoyed lunch together, and the kids loved having their lollipops too. They picked up a ton of candy at the parade. The rest of the day we stayed in, taking naps and just hanging around the house. We plan to watch fireworks on TV tonight since Brendan will be asleep by the time the local ones start around here. Fine by me - I'd rather watch them in my jammies! Hope everyone is having a great July 4th too :) Happy Birthday America!
